Cricket, Stripping and a Publicity Interested Litigation (PIL)

Judges are complaining about PILs? Yes, our judiciary is overburdened by PIL. Going through some of the PILs, I wondered many times, what is the public interest in this? If I had some academic interest, would have tried to find the percentage of PILs that has got some public interest.
Some people really misinterpret PILs are Publicity Interested Ligation or Politics Influenced Litigation. The recent one being unknown(atleast to me) model promising to strip for the Indian cricket team, if they win world cup. Helloo.. did someone take it seriously. If some news papers have some unfilled columns and if some masala new channels have some free airtime, they can advertise it. Let us analyze the public interest in this.
General public opinion
1 - Who is this girl? Publicity stunt. Not interested.
2 - Good for cricketers. Not interested as I can see it live
3 -Cricketers opinion - We have better options ;)

But, what about the self-proclaimed moral police of our society. Yes definitely they are interested to take a share of the publicity generated by the silly/bold/smart/stupid comment of the girl. And our judiciary has one more PIL and it is regarding whether a 19 year old has freedom to strip or not.
Unfortunately no public/politics is interested when young girls are stripped, raped and murdered. There is no public interest when women in rural areas are stripped in public and beaten to death
