No Admirers? No problem.. Abusers would do.... - A case study
People abused him and his art so much. Those who praised were all sarcastic. And for sure what ever I have seen looked below standards. Yet he is one of the most popular person. His work is watched by millions of people around the world. He is giving so many television interviews. He has the popularity of a celebrity. If he is to be believed he has received millions from google, for his youtube popularity.
Like his work this guy also looks to be dump while talking and acting. But I believe seeing is not believing. When everybody laughs at him..he would be laughing within himself. For sure, he has a strategy.
Most of us enjoys to relieve our frustrations/disappointment by laughing/criticizing/abusing somebody who tries to do something. He is milking the most out of this human psychology. He pretends to be dumb. He creates art form, that looks below average. He makes a mockery of himself. People enjoy laughing at him, abusing him. He just continues the mission happily and passionately. He is getting rewarded for sure.
And what about the people who contributes to his growth? They spend their time, money and energy watching his below standard creations, abusing him and advertising him. May be in return they get a satisfaction that they are better than someone.
For sure this guy is not the one we see in his work. He is technically sound. He knows the many aspects of film making that a common man is unaware. And I have to conclude that he is more intelligent than many of us to exploit our time, money and energy.
A great lesson to learn from him. Get the most out of what you have. Be it from those who abuse, if not from the admirers.
After all… it is an easy job to sit and criticize, when you don’t have to do it or when you are not even capable of trying.
You haven't mentioned who that person is. Given the current affairs and the descriptions in your blog, it seems to me that you are referring to Santhosh Pandit. I may be right or out-rightly wrong :-)
ReplyDeleteexactly Biju!!I didnt want to add more to his popularity ... :)
ReplyDeleteNo Soby I can not agree with you. Everybody has their own perspective and the success rate depends on how effective you can implement it on the society. Nothing is static. Y you are saying 'he has the popularity of a celebrity' if he deserve he will get otherwise not take it in that sense!
ReplyDeleteGood analysis and a different perspective...May be you are right...since no other logic is good enough to explain his enthusiasm in creativity.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lily!!!
ReplyDeletePrinu.. you have all rights to disagree.. :)..
